cleaning your air filter?

hey guys,
i 've got the aem air filter, the new dry filter (the grey one)...

anyone know how I should clean it?

like should i just rinse it in water or use dish washing soap like some ppl recommended...its cost $60 so i don't wanna experiment with it...let me know.

soapy water is fine but make sure its rinsed out properly anf left to dry after that what i do with my aem cause i had a k&n before and its sucks having to put that oily substance on it every 6months.
btw i had a cold air directly down to the fender so it got dirty fast
