Yeah, when I first got those, I was a little confused about the hole being in the top like that, which was because this is my first 4th Gen Camaro and I hadn't taken the the stock amber ones out yet. Once I pulled the old ones out, it all made sense.
Every car I've ever had the mounted from the rear, which I've realized is the reason for these cars not having very bright running lights. If you look at a lot of amber bulbs, they're lighter in color on the top of the bulb, but the way they hang down from the top on ours.....you get the reflection from the side of the bulb.
Anywho,....this is what those lights looked like in my car. Sorry for how I posted the pictures. It was because those three pictures were before I learned how to adjust my camera to the smaller pixels, so they're actually huge the other way.
This one shows how the Silverstars are blue when they're off, buy shine amber when they're on.

Now it looks like a regular amber bulb.

This one shows how bright they are at night.

They'll look good in your car Tom.......I actually like the clear corners better in a darker car than I do a light colored car. I think the blackouts would look better on mine but I'll be putting Flames on the front next month, so I decided to go with the older style clears instead of the crystal clears.
