you only say that cause you haven't seen my car in person. I'd rather take it to a half-blind, one-armed man before going to e.s. again.

you have a better shot of getting a decent job from a monkey than the hacks in many shops today ( we have one here that I bet your car looked great compared to the garbage out front it looked like they used a brush, and that is typical of the panel poppers)

my old paint was so bad, that a cat walked across and left permanent marks on the paint. and I could scratch with my fingernail if I lightly tapped it. So sad. If my dad would have had the place, he could have done better, even though he hadn't done it in years.

okay, you havent seen my bumper, the person who had it before me just anihilated it... underneath is it just scratched to S HIT, and paint is chipping/cracking/you name it. Those holes in the front are annoying, and I would always be able to see where they are even if they were fixed. Yeah i could go to shop and pay a ton of money to get everything fixed. Personally I think getting a new bumper for $100 or less, and getting it painted by somone I know in a paint shop is a cheaper way, and less work.

to fix it correctly would cost about $50 plus paint. if you can see the repair it's not done right (I have filled 1/2 holes on bumpers, and bumpers that were torn in half and you couldn't see the repair)chips are easy you strip the thing (a can of stripper is $25 and that is the proper method for repairing the cracks not sanding)

then how would you have time to replace it? it doesn't need to come off for the repair (I did my monte carlo where a corner was missing in an hour when I was in hs)replacing good parts is just weird to me, especially with the current quality of aftermarket parts

I fixed the holes on mine myself(it was pretty easy), and after paint, you'd never be able to tell there were ever holes there. And it was my first time doing anything like that.
