What I can't tell is with the VFN is do you keep the stock hood vents or does the cowl sort of over lap some of the vents?

It's an entirely new hood so there's nothing stock. But it does have stock like vent's, they're smaller than the stock one's but they look much better than if they weren't there.

I emailed VFN asking about how much would the hood be with shipping to my zip code and how long would it take to build. I guess they don't want my business?

Wow, they always respond to my emails right away. Give them a call, you'll see they have great customer service.
