Alright, now Im back into a bit of a debacle.

I recently found a place I can get my eagle alloy 077s for 650 shipped. This is a hell of a deal, the best one Ive found yet. Then I was still looking around and I found some black ZR1s for 280+190 shipping, so about 500 shipped. This is also a great deal.

I know a lot of you are not big on ZR1s, and say too many people have them. I personally like them. Ive wanted EA077s for a while now, but the price is pretty high... and with getting my gears installed, and the price of my hood and paint... were really getting up there with money.. and I dont want to blow a ton of money... I want my car to look good, but money is also an issue here, Im still in college, and Im still poor.

After looking at them, they would look sweet. I would talk to Brent Franker right away to find a decal for the center hub.

Heres the debate Im in... I want to put wider tires on the back. I want to be able to put 245s up front, and 275s in the back. Im not sure if Im able to do this on the 8 inch EAs, but I know I can with the ZR1s.

Ah.. Im in a toss up.

If you get black rims its a must to get a polished lip.. All black rims look dirty.. The ZR1s are only 17's though.. 18's will look 8 billion times better on your car!

So does anyone know if I can fit a 275 tire on an 8" rim?

probably not, but i think matt was able to get a 315 on a 9.5" ZR1. so it probably depends on the shop you take it to.

heres my logic...

stock wheels are 8" wide and have a 245. section width of a 245 is 9.65". section width of a 275 is 10.83". on higher profile tires its easy to make things work, but with a 35 series tire...good luck.

Ah.. weak. I thought Ive heard of it working... I dunno. I really want wider tires on the back, but that means different rims also.
