I tis just the the bars look cheap to me, if the grille opening was more square I think it would look good. Plus with the mesh type grilles you can still the bowtie and fogs easily.

but by seeing the fogs and stuff it makes a grille seem hella (sorry, had to do it) stupid.

so do i, but the fogs still shine through just fine. my friend mike, debonair23, has that grille and they still shine...

I'd have to agree with getting a billet grill instead.....the other ones just look like something you could to using supplies from Home Depot....no offense to anyone.
