to apply the wax, you will need a waxing pad to apply the wax, and a micro fiber to remove it. DO NOT use a whole lot of wax at one time, just use a little bit at a time. Always move the waxing pad/micro fiber in a circular motion, don't get wax on the exterior plastic ( tire shine can be used to make the exterior plastic look new, be sure to get inside the fenders). When applying the wax with the waxing pad, do not rub the wax into the paint...just apply it.....the micro fiber will remove the remaining wax.
and a little tip....either use a work light, or park the vehicle outside in the bright sun to look for any spots u missed

it's not a cheap product but you use minimal amounts per app. so in the end i'd say you save money
