Hood...

Hmm, both would be good. But I would prefer the Ultra-Z for performance reasons. The other just offers more room.
If you want a third option, I like this hood. But have been hearing bad things on the quality.
Heres a better option than the sunco, IMHO. Goes the whole length of the hood.

Honestly i wouldnt do either. But if i had to chose i'd go with the sunoco just cause i have a love of cowl hoods (even thought i think thats the worst looking of all cowls) the Ultra Z is just too small.

This may be true, but out of the two hoods listed, the Ultra-Z is the only one that could POSSIBLY help the air intake on this car, due to the location of the intake. The cowl hood, honestly, I've noticed, no performance gain with it whatsoever. Regardless of where gets the most cold air, the fact of the matter is, a cowl, really, makes no sense performance wise.
Consider this, the Ultra Z comes with, or you can get a package to make it functional, meaning more cold air comes from that vent there in the front directly into the intake. Whereas the air flow from the cowl hits your windshield, comes in and just sits there. There is no possible way for it to get into the intake system, seeing as how it is completly sealed. Sure, more air comes into the cowl hood, but it really doesn't do much. The Ultra Z is clearly the superior hood here for performance reasons, regardless of how much less air is taken in, at least it is put to good use.
Keep in mind however, that gains from either hood are more than likely minimal. Getting a hood for performance, is like getting a spoiler for downforce. The science is there, but in reality, none of us are producing the amount of power needed to fully use either.
