that hood is perfect for the car, the angle of the sides as seen in the first shot are almost perfect with the angle of the doors, etc. and the width is perfect with the space between the headlights. its perfect.

however i do think a normal cowl would look better, not because of the "sharp curves", but for a cowl hood, that ones just too wide.
Maybe the reason you don't know what everyone is talking about, is because you're so confused. Your second paragraph goes on and on about how "perfect" that hood is, and that the width is perfect with the space between the headlights.....it's perfect. Then you contradict yourself by ending the post with: "but for a cowl hood, that ones just too wide." So is it perfect or is it too wide?

As far as why the **** people put the normal cowl hoods on the 4th gen cars.......simple, because they look good! Yeah, it's been mentioned that the sharp edges or boxed look of the normal one looks better on the 3rd gens, but that doesn't mean they're saying they only look good on 3rd gens.

It's very obvious they look good on the 4th gens, I mean look at Brians car......that thing looks bad a$$ with that hood on there. And hey, I'm sorry if I sound like a ***** right now, but I'm really starting to get tired of these recent post's that insinuate nobody else knows what the hell they're talking about.

you aint a *****. i see what you mean though i did sound contradicting.

the hood was designed to fit the car, and it does that, it just comes out too wide for me.

and yeah, normal cowls look badass on 4th gens, but if its sharp lines that will make them look good on 3rds, why do they look good on 4ths? no one knows...

I guess it's just one of those things that doesn't really have a specific answer. For me it's not as much about the sharper edges being a better match for one or the other, I just look the different combos that I've seen, and for some reason, I like the look of the one we're calling the "normal" cowl.

I'm just one of those guys who doesn't really care much for rounded anything. For years I never thought I'd even own a 4th gen Camaro, simply because of that round looking body style, but after seeing a few of them that were modified with GFX, spoilers and hoods, I learned to really like them.

Sorry for being so harsh in my last post bro, it's been a really messed up day for me, and I was in the wrong for taking it out on you.

**EDIT** HHMMMMM, if I were a superstitious person, I'd say maybe the reason I wigged out on this post was because of my "Post Count"..... .......
