I suggested it as a way to make things fit under the stock hood, doing what everyone else does is gay

Stock = gay

For a third gen cowl hood is the best way to go. If i still had my 88' i would have goten a cowl. With a distant second being the SS hood. But only if done right the SS will look good. The cowl just fits the lines of the car so perfectly it should have come from the factory with it.

99 percent of people have stock hoods, so how does having a cowl hood = gay when barely anybody has them? Honestly the only reason I got a cowl hood is because my stock one wouldnt close anymore with my RPM Air Gap/carb/14x3" drop base air cleaner. As ghetto as it sounds i took a 4 1/2" angle grinder to my stock hood and just had a circle cut in my hood (wasnt a nice circle either) after a while i was like f*ck it that sh*ts too ugly and cashed out for the cowl hood.

actually most 3rd gens I see don't have a stock hood, and the hood they usually have is a cowl hood. Followed by the SS, and the IROC Turbo....

I seriouslly doubt more 3rd gens around where you live (or anybody else for that matter) have aftermarket hoods instead of stock hoods. My guess is the only reason you notice them is because of the aftermarket hoods and the reason you didnt see the 9 other 3rd gens infront of that one is because they did not stick out.

actually in most big cities most camaros do have aftermarket stuff, it's because the kids want it and mommy and daddy don't care to teach respect for a dollar and buy whatever tehy want (I went a month without seeing a stock hood on a f body in Atlanta)

I look at all camaros. Whether they are stock or not. I notice. There are more modded camaros around here than plain old non-modded stock. You don't really live around here, so it would be pretty hard for you to tell.

You're right i do not live there, or even near by, goes for you too arch. However chances are theres more camaros over here just because im sure the population is a lot higher over here, and for **** sure its a lot more dense. Yes i see a lot of f bodys as well with aftermarket hoods and tons with rims (nice or not they have em on there) but still, for the most part im not going to believe that there are more camaros with aftermarket body pieces than camaros with out. Could say the same thing about civics if ya wanted to.

I never said street racing, it's much more impressive to see a car that looks and sounds stock go fast, also you don't draw attention to yourself from thieves or police
