I have an SS hood from American Motorsports, it's either 1.5 or 2 inch. I have a 94 but they might have a kit for newer F-Bodies. I love it. For $200 there is a kit from the same company AMS, that makes the hood a functioning Ram Air hood. It's sweet. I wanna get that kit soon.

i say get the 3' SS hood, even though ss are common, the fact that its 3' tall will make it stand out

Wow, I forgot about this thread. I've decided to spend more time on speed and suspension right now. I'll get a hood later but not anytime soon.
