Wonder if the edges of that ones would cover the holes from the RS 3-piece i had to drill into the fender?

Where i had to. The smaller pieces of the RS had 3 bolts a piece to secure it to the fender. If the freedom designs one doesn't cover as much of the fender as those did it might look horible.

It would cost a little more but you could get the holes covered up.

yeah, but your supposed to test fit all parts before paint, keep in mind with spoilers you run the risk of a paint bridge that will be a spot for the paint to fail
