I dont understand how putting corvette wheels on a car makes it poser... mine isnt a corvette. But putting a SS hood on a non-SS car is like stripping the z28 decals and putting on SS ones.

I dont believe anything appearance besides badges would be posing in any matter... youre not stating how much power it has (I.E. SS badges) Youre merely giving it a better look.

I think that people should do what they think looks good.
I put an SS hood and spoiler on my car because It looks nice & I knew that eventually I would be able to back it up. If i was going to keep it a v6 and stock i wouldnt have put that stuff on, but becuase i knew i was doing a forged lt1 with AI heads and cam and a couple other things I did. But I would never put SS badges on my car or anything like that.

very well spoken
i agree fake badges would be the ultimate poser move but the only other thing that i think makes people think its an ss is the hood cause tahts somethign that everyone knows is from an ss most people dont know what car a set of wheels came from but even the hood isnt bad i just wouldnt personally do it but if thats the one u like the best then do it its ur car and the ss hoods do look good on any camaro
i am not bashing anyone for putting SS wheels or hood on a non SS car, i mean **** im gonna probably put SS wheels on my car and a WS6 hood. nothing wrong. i just wont put a WS6 badge on it.
i was simply saying phate contradicts his opinion.

Do what you think looks good on your own car.

Anywayyy, as said previously, the Sunoco hood on a 93-97 looks odd, so definitely the harwood.
