how low is low?
how low is low when you lower your car? like what do the cops go by when they see your car? i herad if thereis rubbing..they can ticket you..that makes sense..but does anyoen here know exactly waht it is they go by?

Actually.... i get pulled over atleast once a week as i drive a 2003 civic ****in slammed 4 inches..... my exhaust hits everything..... my car is lowered properly its basically a go kart..... but the only law is that your tires cannot rub o your wheel wells..... your car can scrape all over the ground.... your tires just cannot rub the wheel wells.... hope i helped you guys out

thanks..but some ppl are telling me that it can't rub or scrape...and someone just told me that it can't rub..but it's ok if it scrapes. is that true?

do u really want ur car scraping the floor, lets say it was allowed, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy would u do that
id say its too low, when it stops looking good, but the problem with that is, everyone has different taste.. lol

I'm not sure about Canada, but in the US they call it the "scrub line"....if you were to draw an imaginary line from the bottom of your front wheel to the bottom of your back wheel.....no part of the car should be lower than that line
reason being, if a tire were to blow you'll be riding the wheel and not having a part of the car hit the pavement first - which could be dangerous
On my old lowered Astro, I was running 15's and tucking tires. My front lower control arms and gas tank where below the "scrub line". Had I blown the front tire, the lower control arm would have dug into the pavement, could have caught and spun the truck around......if I blew the rear tire, my gas tank would have hit the pavement and would blow up in flames LOL
If I here running say 17's or 18's and blew a tire, the rim would the pavement first.
