I have no idea and that would be dependent of the glue... Maybe take it to a local upholstery shop and see what they say.

Thanks

looks great, really looks like it would make the whole interrior look much more expensive usually the plastic panels always look pretty cheap.

Steve just let me know when it's ready to sell and I'll get mine. I have been wanting to do this to my car for a couple years now.

Here's the Drivers side door accessory panel. When I originally bought my Camaro it had a lot of the panels painted gloss black. I really didn't like how it looked so I swapped the painted panels out with stock ebony ones. I just found the painted ones in my garage today so I figured I'd try to cover them in the leather, and what do you know, it worked great :) The second picture shows the passenger side painted panel next to the drivers side leather wrapped panel.

After I get all the panels that will be available to the public made, I will add them for purchase here: http://store.specializedstainless.com Until then, keep checking this thread for updates!

Thank you

It's really coming together well. I can only imagine how good the entire will look once everything's done.

whats the total hours so far?

Mike Jones 10-10-2007 11:46 PM

I'm really going to love to do this, this winter. Since the car will be in storage I can take my time and make sure I do it right.
Next spring should be a good time for my car.

WOW! Nice lookin.
As soon as you get it priced out Ill be ordering a set.
Cant let the Chadster Get too far ahead of me:D
One question. I see some of the pieces are wrapped around, for obvious reasons, but how is the fit? Does it go back on tight?
Add another winter project to the list. Along with an aftermarket intake / TB, roller rockers and a bigger cam. Im gonna beat the Chadster without nitros:nana:
