yea i like the boot but i think the shift plate from the 5 speed is what sets it off!
you could do a b&m mega shifter but make sure you get the kit for your car or it won't work with ur comp i had a mega shifter that wouldn't work due to no nuetral saftey switch or gear indication for my comp. as for just a handle i dont think so just because of the button to change gears!

I thought about doing that.. Getting a manual middle section and getting a boot. So that when you look at it, it will look like a manual but then it just shifts because its a auto.. But that takes away the shift lights so I decided against it..
