Yeah man that looks amazing ... Where'd you get your shifter? I'm looking for a new one.

Oh, and was it hard to modify the console and take out the big ugly cubby hole?

Good ol' Krylon rattle can. But it took time, lots of coats and a crap load of clear coat. Rattle can spray works if you're patient enough.

Thank you. I do need to redo the center console evetually. It's not up to my standards now. And i think evetually i want to move over to the Trans Am door panels. But we'll see.

THe shifter was a Pep Boys impuse buy. I like it but it's loose. I have to tighten it. Some day i want one of those flame ***** that Danielle had posted pics of way back in the day to match my gauges. That would be ideal. And no it wasnt hard to modify the cubbly hole. There is one screw in the center at the way back and then it's just plastic welded to the center console at the bottom. Remove the screw, and take a flat head screw driver between teh cubby and the center consle and break it free. Very easy. Only thing is that you will need to do something with the top part of the center console. I made that plate that has the bowtie myself. Cleaned it up very nicly.
