Not trying too hard... just trying to find a unique fix to a problem. If you saw the lip as it is right now you'd understand. I do dig this look though. And no, colored tires are not happening.

Oh I know. And even if you are hating - sall good. Everyone has thier opinions, I wont bash people for thier opinions (like some would). Just I'm trying to tie everything together on the car. The silver was the plan to tie the emblems, grill, lugs, and tips together and should've worked. But the more and more i look at her, there's not enough sliver there to justifiy the huge silver lip. The red flows better IMO. I like this look. But, if it's one of those "well, it looked good on paper..." things. Then I will pull all of it off and re-apint the wheels. But if i do re-paint - the lip will be thinner.

I agree with that. Sounds like a good plan. Do it and see how you like it, if it never fits right, pull it off. And definately make that lip thinner. I've personally never liked the really thick lipped ones, hence why I painted my zr1's instead of buying them predone with the big lip.
Either way, good luck, and show me some pics!

hmmm.... its different for sure, its not bad, i like it in a certain sense.
however i agree it is tacky and wouldnt want it on my own car. do it tho, get real pics, then like u said rip it off if no go.
