9005 and 9006 are for 98 cars and up. Several companies make conversion kits to use these in 93-97 cars but they are kinda pricey. Do a search. I think Eurolights is one. There may be others. HTH.

you need to get the conversion kit. All 9006 and 9005 bulbs are the same size, what they do is use silicone to hold them on, and they burn out very frequently. If you want something easy just use silverstars they are better than the stock bulbs

If you remove the stock bulbs correctly, as stated in the post......there's no reason a 9006 bulb shouldn't fit. It's going to be snug, but that's why it says to rock the new bulb back and forth until it goes all the way in. Once you get it all the way in,.....hold it in there for a minute or so, and it should stay.

If the new 9006 bulb won't fit inside the opening of your stock 93-97 housing, then there must be some other issue that I'm unaware of, cause everyone I know that's done this..... has had no problems. (myself included) And I was wrong when I said I got mine off eBay, I got my foglights off eBay.(EuroDezigns) I got my 9006 bulbs from MLC Distribution, and haven't a single problem with them burning out.

PM me if you have anymore questions, and I'll see if we can't get this figured out for ya.
