lol, that's ALWAYS a given!
how deep are the scratches? if its at the clearcoat level (it wouldnt be any deeper unless you got razor blade shards in your towel, or if the paint isn't severely neglected), you might want to pick up some scratch X, which is an excellent scratch remover, relatively mid range in terms of abrasive-ness... then move onto something a bit less abrasive, like a cleaner wax, follow up with canuba, then it should be good as new

ya sheepskin is decent to clean the car with, also drying with this towel that crappy tire sells is good, ive never scratched anything with it, its a purple towel that dries right out so its extra stiff, then when you want to dry the car you wet the towel and go!

and i don't recommend using chamois, they scratch the car, and don't dry that well.......California Water Blade, and a cloth somewhat like a terry cloth will do the job

its all about the mothers...i use polish pad to put on and these mothers cloths to wipe it off....throw em in the washing machine when done and your good to go
