If you don't take them off make sure you tape off everything that is remotely close, and then tape/mask of farther. If you aren't inside the paint will go farther than you think.

I personally like the red/white combo, the white would show up dirt easier IMO..

well for my last two f bodies i took the calipers off and painted them. this works best, but for my TA i didnt feel like doing it all again and then rebleeding it.

so what i recommend is unbolting the caliper, leaving the brake line attached, and take the rotor off, then bolt the caliper back on. take the pads out, tape it all off, and go for it. its easy.

and go red. white on white would look funny. go red or another color.

I took mine off so I could do a thorough job on them, but it doesn't have to be done. When I first did mine and painted them black, I just taped off everything carefully. As for color, I'd say anything but red.
