New interior pics of my Camaro
#20
Thnx for the kind compliments everyone!
That would be Kaylie in the pass seat and Jerica in the driver seat.
I don’t even know where to begin ...hehe
I’m not sure how things will be where you are at but over here we have only one salvage yard that runs a monopoly on all F-body parts and 2 other very small yards that might have a few here and there…
Seats in “perfect condition” are from $500-$800
“Complete” dash $800-$1200
Door panels $200 each
Complete consol $180
Seat belts $40 each
Head liner $80
Carpet/interior panels $300
There are also ton of hidden expenses
The 2000-2002 darker interior will be the most hard to find and most expensive. If you already have the lt1 version of the dark interior you can save a ton of money if you stick with lt1 Trans Am stuff. It will save you from having to buy head liner, carpet, interior panels, seat belts, etc.
If any of your buddies need to change their heater core out I suggest you to help them so you won’t have to learn on your own car. It is very easy to crack the dash when getting it in or out. I have taken 3 different Trans Am dashes in and out and my 96 Camaro dash out so I have some wrench time in there if anyone has any questions I will be happy to help as much as I can.
As far as I know I am the only one that has done the Trans Am dash conversion, I did a ton of research and couldn't find any info so I had to learn everything the hard way on my install. Hopefully I can save anyone else that wants to do this some trouble.
