First of all let me say I love my paint job on my car. Its freaking sweet and very diffrent. BUT its the previous owners idea. It shouldnt bother me but it does. I can get a custom paint job for for free I just need to buy the paint. I will also be helping in the painting of my car , Ive painted before but nothing to complicated. I wanna paint my own graphics on the car. I was thinking of a blue with blue ghost flames. My uncle will be my teacher. And a bad *** one at that. Im not sure if Im going to change the theme or just repaint it to take out little scratches here and there. This paint job wont happen for another 4-5 months. so i have alot of time to think about it.

i would have to vote to leave it how it is... but its your car, you should choose how you want it, so if you want to paint it then do it. Its all about your critique, and your creativity that defines your car, and makes it unique.

Ive had enough of black and yellow, thinking some kinda of exotic blue with the same color ghostflames or something that blends, I guess I would have to go to a paint shop.

I'd say leave it like it is. But if you want to look at some colors, maybe check out some of DuPont's candies, there are some pretty nice ones (that's what my car is being painted with) or if you want to see some relly different things and some nice colors, check out Alsa's paints. I'd say go wild or leave it alone.

Try scanning your car into a computer and see what you can come up with.

BTW I was watching Rides tonight and they did some SWEEeet custom jobs on two GTOs. I've seen the one guys work many times before in magazines and on tv (does the best **** flame jobs I've ever seen hands down), but the girl was news to me. She could paint my car anytime,... awesome work!!

I saw that car before, I guess I didnt realize that was yours... you should do somthing besides ghost flames.. because you said you dont want people to like your paint for someone elses idea, and obviously the ghost flames was their idea... unless you are doing somthing really custom with it... i would just say do somthing you havent seen.. You will really stand out and be remembered... by saying that i dont mean go make your car like that blue civic in the other thread, just think of somthing unique that someone hasnt done.. that orignal, and thought of by you
