spooolin street rep is low. keep going
ITS NOT the law..... the law IS.. the headlights must be 24" on the ground or somthing like that... There is No how low can the car go law... My prelude is slamed... on TEIN coilovers. and i got yanked by the MTO and they inspected my car because it was so low.. and they told me Im good as long as nothing rubs, and he headlights are a certin distance off the ground.

Same goes for lifted trucks.. the headlights have to be distance off the ground. theres a min and max amount the headlights can be from the ground.

but the mto actually yanked me because i was so low.. but since it was done right and nothing rubed and my headlights arnt under the min. i was fine and he said have a good day..

ALSO no its not illegal to change you own brake pads. Its illeagal to change someone elses..... Im a mechanic..

okay sorry about the brake pads, that was just an example...i heard itt was u wernt able to change ur own...but the not being able to change sumone elses makes more sence.

as for modifications being illegal...its teh vary articles i have read on this site and others... the police can imply you for "intent to race" "unsafe" and many others at there discretion...
for example...all of those "for offroad use only" products we have all bought ie, exhausts, lights ect...
instead of a simple ticket an officer CAN charge u for the above or impound...
it rarely happens but CAN...
the most common one ive seen that a cop WILL nail u for more than not...is having interior panels or seats removed...thats a HUGE intent to race to a cop...in my talon i had no trunk pieces or privacy cover...and i removed my rear seats at one point to try and get my subs hitting harder...and a cop warned me

ps. im not trying to start , im just passing on knowledge i have learned from others, personal experience and reading...sorry if ur pist off at wat u read...but the bottom line is...everything u do on and off the road...is at ur own discretion...and risk...n we all know a cop will always find SOMETHING to pin u for...be polite...dun stand out in negative ways and ull be fine

I have no name generic adj c/o and since I put my tokico struts in, my car is dropped about 2.5 to 3 inches (maybe a tad more) so the ride is a bit bouncy but thats expected with that much drop

Coils are not bouncy at all, STIFF as can be. I think you are talking about how you can feel a lot more of the road.

At least if you have coils you can adjust exactly how you like. I have a Mazda 3 running Tein Basics and the rear is not low enough so I took out the upper collar and if I want to drop it a touch more I can shave a few mm's off the mounting plate. The Mazda 3 has a euro style rear with seperate spring and shock, not together in a tower.

I have Skunk 2 springs, I believe they are 2 inch drop. They ride great and the car is definetly low enough.

I have coilovers on my Cavalier and I hate them..They aren't bouncy, but they creak and just ride horrible.
