I have often thought about contacting a company like MBA to see if they can just make a bowtie that size for me, but I've never gotten around to it.

The guy on LS1Tech who is making the custom nose badges that were posted on this board might be able to do them also. He quoted me $75 for a set of 3 "LS1" emblems......

hmmmmmm, the z badge won't go with the rest of the badging, but I don't theink the bowtie would go any better. So I say neither. I don't know for sure if this would fit your car, but a bowtie like this would look better to me:

Or of course, you could always see about getting a nice custom one machined exactly the way you want it.

you could paint it or take vinyl and cover it to make it red....

it's pretty easy, I changed the one on my first '69 to a darker blue, the old ones were just plastic held in with some bent clips a bit of plexi and some paint and you have a custom colored emblem

looks like that emblem from npd (who usually has decent prices) is about $80 ouch and it's a grill emblem with a bend in it
