I looked into this back when I had my '94. The only overhead console made that'll fit an FBody is the gay Knight Rider one.
You're going to have to buy a universal one and customize it to make it fit.

You could always try to make one out of fiberglass. That way you have everything you want and where you want it.. But I have seen threads where people were wanting to do this same exact thing but I dont know if they ever finished it though.. I have always thought that it would be too low to put one in a Camaro and have it look good..

My buddy did it on his 95 Trans Am t-top. The idea was kewl and he did a great job, but it blocked the rear view mirror which ruined the idea for me, he had it for about a year then the head liner started to mess up so he got rid of it. It would be a ton harder to do a hard top and you have next to no room before blocking the rear view. And lowering the rear view mirror would look out of place (we already thought of that ) Your best bet would be to some how attach the console to the head instead of trying to install the head liner around the console if that make any sense ….lol

I personally dont like it at all to be honest. It just doesnt fit with the flow of the car. But the idea is definately a good one, something that fit in better with the car would be awesome.
