Talking Painted rear light....

I was waiting for my doors to dry out back. And been wanting to do this for the longest time!!

So I grabed my old tail lenses and used some touch up paint I had lying around. I tried looking for spray paint with the same colour, but no go. So I had to go the brush route . I also removed the bulb to keep it from lighting up. Good thing too! The bulb was loosing it's red tint. Looks ok, and will hold me till I can either get ahold of spray paint in a matching GM colour or get the car painted. Now I'm off to go get the car washed and detailed...

What do you guys think?

BTW. I sanded, primed it, and used the touch up paint. Then Cleared it. Did the same to the screws .

Why not ? Those damn lights are useless and take away from the looks of the car. They had to go. Plus I was waiting for my door panels to dry and needed something to do . BTW they are finished and will be on the car later today. I will post pics later...

Yeah I know. Actually in person it looks a lot better than those pics.

Would love to!!!! But unless you want to send me cash.... not going to happen any time soon. Like I said, it will have to hold me over till I get the cash to paint the whole car. I will keep my eyes peeled to find my colour in a spray can option instead of using that god awefull touch up paint .

i dont see the point of clear side markers. they already match your tail lights. when theyre clear they look off. if you have clear tails thats okay.
