Question Pop Riveting?

How would go about pulling my passenger side quarter panel? Since their is no gas line running to it only a bumper light I figure it would not be to hard to pull. The only thing I should have to do is hunt around for the tack welds and grind them off correct? Since I have no way of tacking it back I was wondering if I could just rivet the panel on? I just don't know if I should take a whack at this or not.

rivit it if you want rust, the proper way is to grind the metal down use a stud welder with a special tool and pull with that, any hole will cause rust (that's why slide hammers are for car thieves not body men)

How is the front of it fastened to the front in a vert? On a coupe its behind the top pillar-

I think you could use alum or stainless rivets if you want to avoid rust-

the holes would rust though, and silicone won't help (will actually promote rust with teh chemicals in it)
