primer question

i know im supposed to put flex additive into the paint when i paint my bumpers but do i have to put it in the primer also? i need to know pretty soon cause ive been working a lot lately and am gonna spray a lot of parts asap.

What kinda primer are you using?? No flex agent was put in my primer.

im using duplicolor primer surfacer. not in a rattle can lol. its 1:1 mixture with the thinner and it says nothing about adding flex additive but i wanted to make sure before i sprayed the bumpers.

You shouldn't need flex agent in that primer, as long as the car is sanded good, it should be ok.

ok thanks for the help dude. im glad i remembered to check back to this thread cause i was about to spray everything besides my bumpers lol. glad i didn't. now i can spray all the take off parts at one time
