i just want to know the size of a tire for it to fit onto a 20 x 8.5, i dont want to know performance if i did, i would be puttin in my friends 383, i have a 3.4 and i want to make it look good.....and on top of all that, i already got a fast car....its a Nova with a 427 and other little mods...i could care less about being fast i like to lok good

Well IMO its hard to make 20" on an F-body look good. Just looks like a big plate of tin foil or wagon wheels. Good luck though. You'll need it.

its better than puttin vette rims under them, because vette rim to a camaro is SI rims to a civic and i think that if you put something under that is nice and not alot of people have, is something that is a great thing.....

Incorrect. A vette rim to a camaro is an NSX rim to a civic. But I do agree, if you find something that is origional and looks nice then go for it. but as i stated before - it's hard to make 20" look good on camaros. Most 20" wheels are made for SUVs by people with no taste. BTW - 20" on a civic would look like **** too.

20's on a camaro is like putting tacoma wheels on a civic wrong. I have yet to see one that looked decent and not ghetto

The stock overall diameter on f-bodies is approx. 25.7- the smallest tire that is a 20 that I could find-( I only looked briefly, I am sure there are others..) is a 245/40R20 which measures 27.7 in diamter. Its only an inch bigger all the way around so you might be able to squeeze them, but you would have to check with a tire shop first since when you buy rims and tires, once you mount them they are yours so make sure they fit.
