Recalibration?

I was looking around for some new gauges recently but none that fit my liking...
I was wondering would it be possibe to buy a set for the V8 with 150 mph readout and recalibrate it to the V6? Or am I getting the completley wrong idea on this...

you probably could do it, but the cost would be the same or more than having a set made exactly the way you want

Should be a direct swap. The gauges are hooked up electronically and have no direct connection to anything. Therefore they get all the info from the computer and assuming the computer knows what RPM and speed you should be all set.

I am about 95% sure, but I would do a little double checking to make sure though.

What typr of calibration are you referring too? Did you put in different gears?

There shouldn't be any calibration needed for the v6-v8 swap.

according to my hollander they are not interchangable. The speedo itself is not the issue it's the tach and other gauges
