anyone have pics of rksport carbon fiber tail covers i mean are they really cf or just like lighter, i would like to have the tails dark but want light to shine through so pics please

No they are not real carbon fiber, they are that black and grey checker board **** and look very cheep.

and carbon fiber doesn't pass light very well (it would be similar to shining light through a corvette fender and yes I know that's fiberglass same basic thing)

lol out of all the things to shine light through, you think of a corvette fender. It'd be cool to have altezza lights where the like... part that surrounds the bulbs and such was carbon fiber.

well teh vette is fiberglass carbon fiber is a form of fiberglass (the stuff you buy is just fiberglass with a grey cloth to keep cost down carbon cloth is expensive and hard to work with)

that's why I said they are not carbon fiber tehy are a picture of carbon fiber light won't shine through fiberglass (not to mention they look like they belong on a honda)

I understood you meant the covers, and not the actual taillights. I don't think that they'd shine through as well as regular smoked.

yeah but i want to see them on a car i already went and looked at em on the rk site, anybody got pics of rk sport blackouts on a car, im looking for some coaver that arent super dark and i dont really feel like doin the nite shade

it seems as though the rksport carbon fiber tails would be what you want, then... from the looks of it, they let more light through. Your best bet would be the nightshades, but like ya said ya dun feel like doin it, so these carbon fibers look like your only other option.

Geez sorry dip ****, the title of the thread was "rk sport cf tails". So to anwser your question corectly, the covers - they are not real carbon fiber, they are a black and clear checkerboard **** and look very cheep.
