Don't worry about painting, instead use vinyal like I plan on doing. That way if you ever want to return the car stock all you have to do is pull the vinyal off.

What kind of vinyal did you use? I know some people that have used the regular cheap ebay stuff and the residue left by the glue was not hard to get off.

I used automotive upholstery grade, if it comes with glue I pass it will fall off and look like a cheap 70's apartment

heres a question while yous are on the painting topic, i painted my panel that goes around my cd player and heater thing and it came out like ****, how do i get the paint off now do i soak it in someting or what?

mineral spirits, or naptha, make sure w/e u use doenst eat the plastic try a little bit and then when your sure let it work for you and just scrub it off. then sand the piece really good so u can get a good bonding surface.

I agree if u can paint like grant go for it, but im not a fan of painting the inside of my car or them seatbelt straps W/E the **** there called.

I make custom seatbelt cover and it all started because I couldn't find any "nice" one out there...
