shaving suggestions

Ok now that im getting into my body work and deciding to make everything as perfect and clean as i can I'm gonna start shaving some stuff... antenna is gone for sure, side molding is already off. The chrome strip on the door is gone too. What else do you all think should be shaved? Door handles, side emblems, nose emblem....? Let me know what you think I should do. Heres a quick crappy chop i just did to see what it would look like. TIA

Also if someone would like to fix my chop real quick and take the side molding off too that would be sweet!

If your already planning to go through all the work of shaving things, i'd definately do the door handles, but the best looknig thing I would personally do, would be to mold the rs ground effects into the car, to where there isnt a gap, make it look like its part of the car.

Like he said.. Mold the GFX.. But I seriously think you should keep the door handles and nose emblem.. Shave the locks and side emblems..

ok so mold the ground effects and keep the door handles. sounds good to me. To shave the locks is all i would need is keyless entry? cause thatd be pretty simple. thanks guys

How exactly would I go about molding the ground effects?

Make sure they are WELL secured (add extra support on them if nessicary) so they dont move much, you dont want vibration rattling appart your fiberglassing.

Its pretty easy, i'd just get the fiberglass resin with the strands already in it, and lay a very generous amount IN and over the gap, make it way too tall so you can just stand it flush. But I cant stress enough that you make sure the ground fx are tight and secure, otherwise all this work will be worthless as it cracks a month down the road.

Im a big fan of body colored flush mounted door handles. Ive seen a few over on TGO, and I LOVE the way they look! Thats something I would like to have on my car someday. (not a body guy!)

they have these things called door lock covers, i forgot where i saw them but they come in many diff colors and snap in place of your door locks to give them that shaved look.

i dont really see a point in that since if you put a cover over it you wouldn't be able to use it anyways right? id rather do it the right way with just the cost of a keyless entry system.

put door handles from a newer car on (ones that are flush) like on the '95 up s-10 are easy to make fit
