tint question

hey guys, what kind of cleaner do u guys use for the inside of your tinted cars? i heard like you are nto suppose to use cleaners with amonia because it can fade and crack your tint. my tint guy gave me 2 bottles of this special cleaner that is amonia free but i am now all out and it is like a 20 min drive to his shop vs. a 5 min drive to auto zone so what do u guys use? also some girl at my work uses armorall glass wipes have anybody used these, ps her windows are tinted and she said they work great

many of the high end ones work well, it all depnds on the tint too if it's the cheap diy stuff it won't matter it's gonna fade (pros get a better quality stuff that you can't buy in stores)it should say on it if it's safe for tint, but most of todays cleaners are fine

Yeah and those wipes leave lint everywhere. Windex + paper towel > all

yeah, i've heard that too, but I have better luck with my black magic 'glass' rag. Doesn't leave lint, doesn't streak.

I usually use with stoner's invisible, but once in a while I use something else. And I've used the glass wipes, and never had a problem with lint. they're good for a quick fix. I like some of those wipes, they are good for quick detailing. Not an in-depth one, just a really quick one.

Stoner's Invisible Glass. Greatest window cleaner ever.

it's a thin foam. I take it off with newspaper.

stoner's is okay.. but I don't think that's its the greatest. i bought some under the recommendation it was, but I don't completely agree with that.
