Final tally just under $500. It was real easy to do. No big deal with simple tools. Hardest was the fill, sand and paint. Looks decent, not perfect but that will get touched up a bit when the car goes in for repaint and minor bodywork.

Yeah, I guess the red grew on me. The paint is ok, shined up nice put I'm kind of a perfectionist. Plus the side moldings are going bye bye.

Some things I hear on this forum are funny to me. The repainting and this T-Top conversion. How can it be so cheap? I can't even get my front end repainted for $500. To have my hood and front fenders and nose blended it will be $800. That conversion really gets me. Did you do it yourself? If so, you must have some background in bodywork. Either that or I am the least experienced person on this entire site.....which I wouldn't deny.

the t-top conversion with him doing a quick sand & paint was $500. If you get the parts ata good price, ehich isn't too hard, and do stuff yourself, it doesn't cost alot. A whole reapint is gonna cost a lot more that $500. And your color is a little harder to match than some.

Why is red the most expensive color? I thought that was a plain color. Depends on the shade and tones I guess. Maroon I can see being expensive. Red like NoRice though, I would think is a cheaper color, since it's not too deep. No offense NoRice, I love your car, it's beautiful!
