ill think about it. but thats what this paint was made for...one stage means one stage. my friend said if it needed clear coat the paint would look really dull. he said at his work the paint they use when they spray it it looks like faded and stuff and then when the clear is sprayed thats what gives it the shininess. i think it will be fine. what do you think of the color?

id like to see it on the body first... but i dunno how clear would make it more dull... Its going to look more shiney than anything... Id care more about it protecting the paint than anything... you can take out scratches and chips much easier in a clear coat than you can the paint.

i think i typed that wrong. or you read it wrong idk lol. i didn't mean that clear coat would make it duller just wouldn't do anything really. ill consider it though...

From the pictures you've posted I think the color is going to look good. I'm with Paar in that I'd clear it, it can't hurt to have the extra protection there.

im gonna talk to a few people at highland auto body and see what they say. the only thing is that clear coat is a ***** to spray. its the hardest spraying part in a paint job. i would probly have runs and fish eyes and **** so it wouldn't be worth having a ****** paint job. but i will talk to some poeple

you wont have runs if you do it right... runs are from spraying too heavy of a coat, or too close. Just back off a bit and do very light coats. When I paint ****, clearing it should look like overspray the first couple coats. Buy the 3rd, it looks like a nice clear coat. Just my .02.
