Wheels

Well I just picked up the wheels and tires. Wow, I knew 315's were big but when you see them in person I can actually realize how wide they are. Since they have drag radials on them I guess I'll have no choice but to go to the strip and see what she can do. I'll be happy if I can hit high 12's which should be possible as long as my stock clutch can hold.

I guess I forgot to post it but I'm going to stay with the lip.
You guys do know it's not polished right? I mean it's just the grey the wheels cam in from the factory, I just didn't paint that section.
I guess I need to start sanding down my new wheels and I need to buy some grey paint for them as well.
Anyone know how hard it would be to get the black off since it's powdercoated on. Or will I have to just paint the grey right on the black?

I would say try and get the black off and polish whats there. If its not too much of a pain in the *** then just polish up your other wheels. They are aluminum and alum does polish, it just takes time.
But depends on how many hours you want to dedicate to your wheels. Otherwise I think if you just rough up the powder coat then the silver paint should stick fine..
