window motors

alright anyone know of anywhere to get quality window motors for a good price.

theres a seller on ebay that has cheapos for like 15 a piece, then they have what they call OEM quality motors for 35 a piece.

well GM motors are like 90 wholesale, so i dont know if even their "OEM" motors are good enough. so anyone know a good place to get some?

Actually there are several write-ups out there that will probably solve your slow window problem. Its a problem with the heat sensor in the motor that wears out and prematurely slows the motor down. I haven't done it yet, but I guess you take the motor apart and just take the heat strip out..

Search on CamaroZ28 and you should find it..

yep. found it this morning. damn does it work good!

my passenger motor was original so i had to drill the rivets out and put screws in, but that mod worked great.

the driver motor was an aftermarket, and the internals were different, but it had the same type of thing so i did that to it too...

anyone thinking of replacing your motors cuz their dead, theyre not!
