Window Tinting

Hey guys,

I just got some window tint off of Ebay becuase I plan on tinting my own windows before the car show that is going to be around here. I got 3 rolls, each 20" wide, and 6' long. I just want to do the sides for now, and I was wondering if anyone on here has any guides, links to guides or tips to help me out. I've read about it, and talked to a couple people who have tinted windows, and by taking your time, it shouldnt be too difficult. Anything really will help me out. Thanks.

make sure the glass is clean.I would say do that stuff dry, unless you know it's compatable with wet (most low cost ones use a water based glue)take your time and use a squeegee (or hard plasic er) to smooth it

Same thing I have been thinking of doing for a while. I say just start out with the cheap stuff so if you screw up it is no big deal. BTW how dark are you going?

I watched the guys put the window tint on both of my Camaro's. Didnt LOOK to hard but im sure its harder then it looks. He had to pop the trunk and lay upside down to put the back on. Most of your tint shops with do it in 2 different pieces. If you can do the back window in 1 piece. But good luck! =]
