Windows (Re)Tinted
Last weekend I went to get my hatch finally tinted to 35%. When I got there, we were observing my side windows that I thought were 35% already this whole time, well I found out they were actually 20% haha. The guy was just then like "**** it, Ill redo the sides for you free of charge, otherwise its just gonna look stupid on your car." So I debated wether I wanted 20% or 35% all the way around, and I decided to go with 35%. I liked how dark 20% looked a lot, but I thought it would be better to go with 35% to try to avoid cops having a reason for stopping me.
A few hours later, he finished, and we were backing it out for pictures. He looked at my drivers side and told me to bring it back in. He ended up redoing it 2 more times before he was satisfied. He also used black vinyl on the top of the hatch to black out the dots, which IMO looks really nice and gives it a really nice look. The guy did an awesome job, and for $90 for all 3 windows+ removal, and redone twice, it was worth every penny. The guy was really cool as well. Me him and Adric talked the whole time, and he reminded me how much he hated doing fbodies while he was doing it . But I got to see the entire process of how tint is done which was cool. Anyways, Im done with the novel if any of you have read this far... lol, heres the pics:

Looks good but I am happier with 20 im telling you thats what i got done on mine no cop trouble and it looks sick. Its still to easy to see into the 35 for me. i love the darker look it gave mine in pictures. I was going to change the color of my car and when i got it tented to 20 totaly changed my mind keeping the color adding ghost flame stripes

Looks killer Bud ~ and I agree.....it really does look darker than most 35% tint jobs. I know when it's wet they always look a litter darker. I have 35% on my sides as well, and that's about as dark as I like the sides. For me, 20% on the sides is too dark at night.
I do have 20% in the back though, and it's still not dark enough. As soon as I put those chrome amps back there, you could see right through it during the day. I guess I'll have to make some black covers for them so that you can't see through the back window, cause I can't go darker than 20% in the back without getting stopped.
They didn't use Vinyl on my back window, they just cut the film across the top and sprayed it black. Without doing something similar to that area, you definitely end up with air bubbles around those dots.
