Authentic Spoon rims with Tires.

These wheels are the Japanese equivalent of the Torq-Thrust D wheel. But they’re not all about style. Spoon’s offerings are about performance. Here’s why: First, they’re one-piece forged from aluminum and weigh in at just under 8-1/2 pounds (for the 15”) – and just under 12 pounds for the 16”. Lighter wheels = less unsprung weight = faster acceleration and better handling.
Second, they don’t look fast, which means competitors (and cops) are less likely to zero in on you as the fast bad-*** you are.
Of course, to the trained eye they look wicked. With their black shot alumite finish, they’ll match up with pretty much any other performance customizations. The only bad news: they’re only available in 15” and 16” sizes with offsets and bolt patterns sized specifically for Honda and Acura applications – but I know for a fact these’ll fit other models like the the Mk. 2 Golf and Jetta.
Also like the Torq-thrust wheels, Spoon’s offerings are often imitated but never duplicated. While replicas may be cheaper, they’re are cast — not forged — aluminum and a lot heavier. For the real deal, $375 will get you a single 15” wheel and $475 apiece will get you into the 16’s.

Its hard to tell, there is a lot of imitations circulating at local flea markets that are not either spoon or rota. Hope these are real and that they sell for you Good wheels and cool design. Stealth.

I'd say they're fakes personally. There are zero desmond stickers, and the spokes don't have slits in them. EVERY 16" wheel produced by desmond has slits on the side of the spokes. The holes in between the lug nut holes look square, not round. Do you have any pics of the desmond stickers or the slits in the spokes?

Im not trying to hate. But seriously who are you trying to fool? Maybe youre trying to take advantage of some poor uneducated kid looking for authentic wheels or maybe you are uneducated or misinformed yourself.
1st dead give away that those are fake is the finish. Spoons are flat black and when they are washed have a slight weird green tinge to the finish.
2nd dead give away is the holes around the bolt holes. 16 inch Spoons dont have those extra holes, only the 15 inch ones do.
3rd where is the Desmond sticker on the inside of the wheel? Desmond is the company that makes the wheels for Spoon, Im 100% sure yours dont have that.
I'll bet my first born that those are either Rotas/Drags/Speedys or Nippon Racing wheels.
Some pics for reference:
End of the Desmond/Spoon wheel 101 lesson. Again, who are you trying to fool?
