Ryan was in the military...Engineer's corp, i believe. He originally was going to be a Navy SEAL, but because of how much he would be away, he decided not to so he could be around. And he was an expert marksmen. One of the top in his class. Go into the gun post to see our personal collection of guns. lol. Trust me, he's played with lots of weapons and explosives. It's been his life. He's a gun-obsessed pyro. He still plays with guns and explosives out of the military. legal or not.
