1999 civic SIR (electron blue ) 1.6 DOHC VTEC
The car has been inspected by a mechanic. The only little defect for this vehicle i found out is that theres a tiny and i mean tiny coolant leak. Its not a serious issue. There is no visible evidence of coolant on my drive way, when the car is running and there is absolutely no problem while the car is driving. I've been driving this car for two years and not one single problem of over heating. Its a shock to me but what car doesnt give you problems these days. Also the tention air pulley for the A/C is disconnected ( very easy to bolt back on ) Other than that notghing else.
I'm adding this to the add due to the fact of that theres nothing to hide
What I mean by all original is that the car is still mostly stock. None of this fancy skirt packages, wings, turbo's, just has tiny minor cosmetics done. explains all below in the description of the vehicle. To all asking if the cluster was replaced ... no it wasnt , its just a plastic thin skin over it to make it inglo blue. If you dont like it take it off to have the stock SIR cluster. The rear lights unfortunately the previous owner didnt leave them with the car. But all over kijiji they have the stock OEM lights for the SIR. Not exspensive at all. The transmission is mint, shifts very well and the clutch is still brand new. There is no rust on the vehicle well except for a tiny spot on the hood from a stone chip. very easy to touch up. other then that the car is in really good shape for a 1999. 190,000 km's on the body
85,000 km's on the JDM B16A2 DOHC VTEC motor (was put in February 2008)
The body is in great condition especially for a 99. A couple of stone chips on the hood, nothing serious. Easy to touch up.
Rims are original but were painted by previous owner (grey) but the paint is started to crack on two of them easy to fix , I just don’t have the time to do so
5 speed LSD transmission. Was also put in February 2008
Short shifter
Custom indigo gauges for the cluster and also comes with a 3 pod custom gauge set. Includes water temperature, oil temperature and oil pressure. They all light up blue due to all having an LED light.
The interior is all original. No rips, burn marks or stains. The interior is all cloth
There are custom painted interior pieces around the door, couple of the vents and also the main centre piece covering the cluster, the main controls where the AC and temperature settings are. The color is exactly like the car. It matches perfectly and was professionally done.
There are many brand new parts that have been put on recently including a water pump, alternator, and distributor. All not even 5 months old
New flow master muffler. (It’s not a full cat back but it gives just the right tone to the engine ** not loud at all**) also I do have the stock muffler.
The car right now is lowered on Eibach performance lowering springs. It’s about a 1.75 drop. They are not coil over so the ride is very smooth and handles amazing around corners. Again I do have the suspension that came with the car.
The car comes with an AEM short ram air intake system with a reusable K&N filter.
A custom sway bar under the hood
Spark plug wires (BLUE) (NGK) also performance spark plugs they were changed not too long ago
Brand new Falken Zien tires 195/50/15 not even 4 months old
Comes with power locks , a remote Honda alarm with key less entry (factory), sunroof, heated mirrors, and power windows
The audio side to this car is a Panasonic MP3 head unit, a tweeter on each door, clarion rear and front speakers, a Rockford Fosgate 200 watt amp with one 300 watt RMS 12” Rockford Fosgate subwoofer, also including the stock Honda radio an a 8 gauge amp/wiring kit.
The last specifications are the VTEC kicks in around 5500 RPMS and sound amazing. The car is a 1.6 liter engine so the gas consumption is just incredible.
Always 94 octane though and synthetic oil.
