Smile 94 TA in very good condition...maybe a trade?

I am thinking of selling my 94 TA, but would be interested in possibly trading for something in a modded v6.

I already started a thread on another site.

Please read if interested.

Thanks!

Here are a few:

http://www.ultrascan.com/MISC/dvrside.jpg

Here is the original thread where I bought the car:

http://www.mtfba.org/forum/viewthrea...=5181#pid48037

It gives some details of the mods.

Here is a copy of an email I sent to one interested party. I hope it helps answer some questions.
------------
The car looks nearly new on the outside. The inside looks nice, but there are a few issues. The steering wheel buttons don’t work, and some have a tendency to fall off at the wrong times. There is a gauge cluster on the driver’s side pillar with a shift light and an air/fuel mix gauge. The shift light works but the colored bulb cover is missing, so that you see several small LED’s showing, but it doesn’t look bad. The air/fuel mix gauge shows the car to be running rich, which it is. I do not know how to tune the car, so I have just put up with it. The car runs great! It pulls really hard all of the way through the speedometer up to about 110. I only went that fast once, but I know if I hadn’t of let of, I would have probably buried the needle at 150mph! (Or at least it felt like it would have been able to) I haven’t had any major engine problems, just a dead battery. The only known engine problem is an oil leak that drips about two small drips per night. I usually end up putting a quart of oil in between oil changes. There are only a couple of very small paint chips, and those have been touched up. The interior has a few other issues, but they are all trivial. The “low coolant” light is on, but it is just a bad sensor. I regularly check my fluid levels. The ABS light is on, but the ABS system seems to work, although I have only tested it once in a real world instance; it worked well.

I am thinking of selling the car for a couple of reasons:

1. GAS (this is my daily driver, and I commute)
2. I had fun modifying the V6. I don’t want to learn another engine, because I wasn’t a car guy until I got the V6. One engine to learn is enough for me.
3. This is my daily driver, and I commute. (GAS)
4. This color is cool, but not for me. I like black and red usually.
5. GAS

1994 Trans Am GT - It has power locks/windows/ mirrors, drivers side power lumbar supports. It has a good stereo/MP3 deck, amp, power E/Q, and dual JL Audio 10" sub box. The front door speakers are Sony Xplodes I think. The side pillars are stock but sound good.

Depending on mileage of both cars, it would basically be considered almost a straight trade in price by Kelly Blue book....

2Poor4Z, Your car is nice!

I can work on getting better pics to you tomorrow (it's crappy and rainy outside today). Although my car is in very good condition, it does have some interior issues, such as a couple of loose steering wheel *****. The interior looks good, but has a ways to go to get it in "show" condition, although there isn't any real major issues.

I am very easy on the engine, and I almost never speed. I just had the radiator flushed yesterday. I also ran some SeaFoam through the oil for a couple of hundred miles and had the oil changed. I only use synthetic oil, and I sub in a quart of Lucus at every change. I have one month old Firestone ZR1 low profiles on the back, but the front tires need to be changed.

If we decided to trade with each other, I would want the stereo to stay in you car if possible. I would rather buy the stereo from you and leave it installed, instead of having to put one in. Just tell me how much you would need for it.

Also, I have no problem paying extra it your car is worth it, and it appears it is. Please email me and let me know what state you live in so I can consider bringing my car up for you to see. I think you will be impressed! Trust me, this car gets A LOT of looks. I pulled into the service station and ALL of the guys that weren't in the pit came to look at it, and couldn't stop complimenting my on the car and the SOUND!

P.S. your car is pretty much what I am looking for.

well i live in south south south alabama on the coast lol.. in mobile.. area code 36688 if your looking for a location..

well we can talk.. right now the car has a few issues that would have to be discussed...

the front lip is off right now due to some bad scuffs marks and needs to be repainted.. as well as the spoiler right now is black..

let me know what you think.. and about how much you would be willing to give for my car.. including your.. it is a 97 v6 with 130,xxx miles.. but is very well kept i did all maintenance myself... lots of custom mods.. spent over 11k on mods so far..
