FS: 1984 Jetta GLI Coupe 16V

This is going to kill me because I just bought this car and had some big plans for it. Alas, due to a wrist injury from one of the car's primary drivers (cannot drive a manual in this condition), I am forced to sell the car I had so many plans for. Car comes with all receipts, an appraisal report, and a ton of spare parts.

Here are the details:

1984 Jetta GLI coupe - car has 238,000 original kms on it.

- Alpine White
- in great to mint condition (there are a couple *tiny* rust spots and around 2 small paint imperfections)
- car is solid everywhere (floors and underhood and in trunk are mint)
- Fuba roof mount antennae
- rear bumper needs replacing
- not winter driven in 10 years

INTERIOR:

- no sunroof
- MINT Front Recaro Seats from 1992 GTX with working power bases
- Black dash swapped in along with all trim to match interior
- white headliner in mint condition
- Custom stereo install by Chase Audio

- 2 X Phoenix Gold M25 amps
- Kenwood motorized flip face deck
- 2 X 5.25" front component speakers
- 2 tweeters in dash
- 2 x 6" rear deck speakers

ENGINE:

- Engine swap and all engine work performed by Eurospeed
- Engine is in beautiful condition and has a partially polished intake manifold
- 9A code 1992 Passat 2.0L 16V engine (>10,000kms on rebuild)
- Shrick 268 racing cams both intake and exhaust
- SS Header
- Custom 2” Exhaust to ANSA tip
- K&N Air Filter
- Metal Head Gasket
- APR Head Bolts
- Neuspeed Chip
- Optima Red Top battery relocated to trunk area
- Urethane Engine Mounts

TRANSMISSION:
- no grinds whatsoever

SUSPENSION:
- Eibach Struts over KYB Gas-Adjust shocks and struts

- Struts mounts converted to old indestructible style
- Bonrath Poly Upper Strut Bearings
- 15” American Racing Rims
- Dunlop tires with plenty of tread

BRAKES:
- Brembo Cross-Drilled Rotors
- Repco Racing Brake Pads.
- Stainless Steel Braided Brake Lines
- rear drums with Repco Racing Brake Shoes

EXTRAS:
- set of GTI door cards
- set of spare taillights
- set of spare mirrors
- set of stock 16V cams
- stock 16V computer and chip
- tons of speaker wire and RCA cabling
- full set of weather stripping
- spare lock set
- spare set of Jetta headlights
- spare stock 16V exhaust manifold

To be perfect the car needs:
- Steering Rack Bushings (Urethane Autotech Bushings included)
- Rear Bumper replaced
- Blower fan for heater needs to be fixed
- Washer fluid reservoir and pump
- Reverse light switch needs to be wired up

IM me for pricing - serious buyers only please. Car would be awesome road course car - and would be a 14 second 1/4 mile machine. If the right offer does not come around I will keep the car and live out the dream. Updated pics will be taken ASAP. Keep checking back.

E-mail me at lowblackdub@gmail.com for more details...

Price: $3700 or

$3000 without Optima, cams (stock installed), seats, and stereo.
