FS: 1987 Isuzu Trooper II

Alright...I've got a pair of Troopers right now,and one has to go. I bought one in excellent shape, but it has a blown engine,so I bought another Trooper as a donor vehicle, but a day after purchasing it and talking to the guy that is going to perform the swap,I found out he already has an engine ready to go into my dead Trooper, therefore I have no use for the running donor one I just bought.

So,here's the dillio:

1987 Isuzu Trooper II. Dark blue on tan cloth.4 door,4 wheel drive,5 speed manual, carburated 2.3L Inline 4. 276k KM on body.

In the last 6 months this truck has had over $800 worth of parts put into it and mechanically is in great shape. The engine was replaced just over a year ago,has new brakes, new clutch, tires, and a brand new rust free gas tank from Cali. This thing runs like a new truck. It had been sitting for about 2 months before I bought it,and when I turned the key for the first time,it fired right up.

I used to work for the previous owner, and it's been a daily driven commuting/work truck,so I know where it's been and what's been done to it for the last year and a half.

Bodywise,it's had some bodywork done to it,but it is suffering from some rust. There are holes in the floors (along the rocker panels, rear wheel well, and cargo floor) but for the most part,it is still structurally solid and does not show any signs of being in poor state, however I would doubt the holes will pass safety inspection,so some Bondo and a couple pieces ofnew metal riveted on will fix things right up. The windshield is cracked,so it will need to be replaced, and the headlights don't work for some reason which I haven't found out yet. The bulbs are fine,so it's either a fuse, bad ground or the switch, though the parking lights and tail lights work just fine. There aresuper bright fog/driving lamps on it that are bright enough to be used as headlights though.

Anyways, like I said, this truck runs great and is extremely reliable and gets quite good fuel economy for what it is. It's the perfect winter beater, project truck, mud bogger, work truck or second vehicle for the couple hundred bucks that need to be put into it to be roadworthy.

I don't have pics yet,but will try and get some asap. I paid $1000 for it on March 18th,so I'm looking to get my $1000 or nearest offer. It's a little tatty and needs a good cleaning, but a great truck.

Hopefully someone can come and give it a good home. Please email me at raging_rotary@hotmail.com and I will get back to you asap. I am located up in the Orangeville area, and the vehicle is not plated or saftied,so cannot be legally driven on the road,so you'll need to come and see it,otherwise I would meet up with you somewhere.

Thanks,Mike
