I am selling my 1989 Mustang LX, it's just too clean and nice to chop up and modify and I already have my sights set on another car.
This car was brought up from California, it has no rust and is the perfect canditate for someone willing to mod it or just cruise it. It is one of the nicest driving Fox verts I have ever driven! The car was meticulously maintained by the original owner up until he passed away, it was then bought by a gentleman in New Jersey who barely drove it and parked it before the winter. Here's some specs on it:
1989 Mustang LX 5.0 AOD with 140k.
Dove Grey exterior, very rare colour and it still shines like new. Grey cloth premium GT interior with power lumbar seats. Power windows, mirrors, and locks. Black top in good condition. Brand new six piece headlights. Very nice Chrome Pony wheels with brand new Falken ZIEX 225-50-16 tires up front and 2 brand new Nitto NT555 Drag Radials 245-50-16 out back. The car also has a Flowmaster 2 chamber exhaust system, but is otherwise stock. New heater core, and perfectly functioning and ice cold A/C. The car needs nothing for certification, and will pass emissions with flying colours.
I would honestly rate the paint a 6.5 out of 10, it has some dings and paint chips which I've touched up. I'm also being pretty conservative I guess, everyone who's seen the car has loved it and found nothing wrong with it. I'm pretty picky with these things. The drivers side fender was previously repainted and the clear is chipped in some spots, but this can be dealt with and worked into a deal. The drivers seat has a hole, but I am searching for a clean replacement and this will be included in the sale. The rest of the interior is clean and comfortable, the carpet is plush and was recently replaced. The ashtray still works!! With a nice coat of paint this car would easily fetch $12k.
This car runs amazing, sounds great, turns heads everywhere, is a comfort to drive, it got over 700km to a full tank of gas on the trip back from New Jersey to Montreal, has a very clean underbody and engine bay, pulls very hard, and is just a pleasure to drive! I am letting this beauty go for $8900 OBO, and the vehicle is located in Montreal but arrangements to see it in Toronto can be made. You can find prettier cars for roughly the same price or more, but they are all rusty Canadian cars and have probably been abused and painted several times. This car is a truly unmolested and straight car, the top even closes without effort! You will not find a nicer Mustang!

Here are some pics, keep in mind the first pic has been photoshopped because I haven't had an opportunity to replace the GT tailpipes with proper chrome LX pipes. It's just to give you an idea of how it will look with the right tailpipes. And like an idiot, I forgot to take a picture of the engine bay. It is VERY clean and looks amazing. Probably the cleanest original engine bay I've ever seen in a Fox (no major detailing or work put into it).
