Hatch2k street rep is low. keep going
FS: 1993 Honda Del Sol K20A2 Type-S

I can't believe I'm doing this, especially so soon! I've finally come to the decision that my baby has to go. In the 8 months since it's completion, I've done everything I wanted to do with it. The only thing I could think of doing next is beating up on it at the track, but I just don't have the heart to do something like that.

I purchased the car back in July 2005 from a good friend of mine who was leaving the country. The car was in no previous accidents, had only minimal rust, and the roof didn't leak! My friend searched long and hard to find this one, as most Del Sol's he saw out there were rotted or in previous accidents. The car was originally Milano Red and it had 252,000kms on it when I purchased it. In December 2005, with 262,000kms on the body I began a complete tear-down and re-build of the car. I have MANY pictures documenting the work that was done to the car, as well as a pile of receipts... it's not pretty. I spent 3 long months working like a dog on this car and I hope it speaks for itself. The car was driven approx. 2 days/week aside from out of town car shows. I never took it to the track for lapping or drag, only to the dyno twice. The car pulls an easy 200whp/150wtq with a steady power curve. I believe the car could put down another 5-8 whp with a less restrictive exhaust, but I wanted it quiet. The car is running a base Hondata Map for I/H/E, but I have been told many times I could push another 10-15whp with proper tuning. I built this car to keep forever, but sadly... it just wasn't meant to be.

Since unveiling the car at the Performance World car show in March, the car has been featured in 2 North American publications, won a number of awards, and has been in corporate booths for shows like SEMA International Auto Salon and NOPI Nationals.

Media Coverage:
- Super Street Aug 2006, SEMA IAS Coverage
- Modified Magazine Sept 2006, 5 Page Feature
- Modified Mag - The Performance Magazine for Sport Compact and Import Cars | HIN, NHRA, NOPI, NDRA, HID, D1GP, Formula D, SEMA Sept 2006, Online Feature
- HCI Magazine Oct 2006, 6 Page Feature

Shows & Awards:
- SEMA IAS, Booth Display Vehicle for SPC Performance
- Sport Compact Nights Montreal, 1st Place CRX/Del Sol
- NOPI Nationals, Booth Display Vehicle for SPC Performance
- NOPI Nationals, 1st Place Del Sol Street/Mild

I don't know how to work this out as I'm sure it's going to be near impossible to sell it as a whole. What I want to do is post a "base price" for the car and then a list of each individual modification on the car with a price. If you want a certain part, add the corresponding cost to the "base price" and just keep adding it up. Once a package and price are agreed upon, we will write up a contract, I'll require a non-refundable deposit, and I will begin configuring the car to your specs. Basically, whatever labour is required to make the car "yours" will be included in the price. As well as a 4-wheel alignment if any of the suspension/braking components are changed.

Here is what I consider my "base" package (I've included the price of the parts in brackets):

And now onto the options available for this car. (Cost: is the price for the parts new & Add: is what I want for it now including labour on top of the "base" price). Please do not PM me about these parts unless you are interested in the car. I will sell off remaining parts once the car is sold.

I'll be more than willing to sell the car complete as it stands, but I'm not counting on finding that person. The total value of everything there is over $45,000!! Even at below retail, forum, hook-up, or eBay pricing... a car with all of this would cost well over $35,000 to build.

So that's it for now... if you're serious about the car, come and see it and we can talk numbers in person. I will gladly take you for a test drive, but please don't waste my time. No one will be allowed to take the car for a test drive, there's just too much as risk for me to do that. If you have nothing good to say, I don't want to hear it... if you think my prices are too high, I don't want you to tell me. I've spent ALOT of money on this car in a span of 3 months and most of the parts listed above only have 15,000kms on them. The car never gave me any troubles, just pure enjoyment every time I drove her.

For serious inquiries, please PM or e-mail me at vince@heishin.ca. I am located in Richmond Hill, ON.
