Exclamation FS: '87 Fiero GT 3800 V6 turbo/ic - 400whp *Cheap, LOW KM*

Located in north Toronto, must sell. This auction is for one 1987 Pontiac Fiero GT Turbo/Intercooled 3800 V6, mid-engine, rear wheel drive car, with approximately 400 WHP and 480+ lbs. ft. of torque. It is a 3 year complete buildup and I have all receipts on hand.

Body

•2 yr old PPG GM “Admiral Blue” paint (only used on 1996 Corvette Grand Sport)
•Functional side air scoops (left and right) for cooling of engine bay and oil cooler
•Functional rear trunk lid air scoop for engine bay heat venting
•Pop-up/removable sunroof
•New windshield and passenger glass windows (rare to find new), no scratching!
*Car does have some slight scratches on body front bumper area and under front air dam, as well as 1 cracked moulding, but I have the replacement piece for you (not installed but included). Also, one of the 1/4 windows is cracked, but I also have NEW GT 1/4 window sets included with the auction (see all extra parts below).
*The stock speedo is non-functional (due to the 2001 tranny installed), but you have a new 5" Autometer speedo included with the auction as well (see below).
•Car has Ontario certified "REBUILT" title (no affect to registration whatsoever), body has minor scratches to paint in some spots, no rust on body, VERY minor rust spots undercar and to bolts, etc. of suspension, car garaged in winters, 220,000KM on body

Suspension

•Wheels front: New Lightweight forged aluminum 17x8” Enkei RPF1 wheels, +35 offset, with New Toyo T1-R 225/45/17 tires
•Wheels rear: New Lightweight forged aluminum 17x8” Enkei RPF1 wheel, +35 offset with New Toyo T1-R 255/40/17 tires
*The rim and tire combo on this car ALONE are worth almost $3000 CDN.
•Brakes front: 11.5” discs, vented, cross drilled, zinc coated with semi-metallic pads “big brake kit” (only 2 years old)
•Brakes rear: 11.5” discs, vented with semi-metallic pads “bike brake kit”
•Upgraded GM brake master cylinder (hi-volume), steel braided lines
•29mm rear performance sway (anti-roll) bar
•29mm front performance sway (anti-roll) bar
•Poly-urethane suspension mount all around, including polyurethane engine and transmission mounts
•Suspension Techniques performance lowering sport springs (only 2 yrs old)
•New Koni “Reds” performance shocks, front manual 5-way adjust, rear **** adjust (only 6 months old!)
•Custom made engine mounts, cradle support for 3800 V6 engine/transmission, cradle handles the power without issue.

Engine
(Note: All supporting engine parts, ie. alternator, battery, water pump, fuel pump, pulleys, belts, hoses, exhaust, etc. are also all NEW, no more than 2 years old maximum)
•Rebuilt (entire bottom end) 1995 GM 3.8 Liter (3800cc) V6 with ONLY 7000KM on motor. (Originally supercharged motor, thus internal parts already forged from factory, car runs from 5-15 psi at any time)
•NEWPerformance camshaft from Comp Cams USA Inc. (custom ground for turbo application!)
•New Clevite engine bearings and pushrods rods
•Pro Port and polished intake manifold and heads, flow matched ported exhaust manifold for increased airflow
•All NEW performance gaskets (done at rebuild, motor/clutch properly broken in)
•Upgraded fuel pump, fuel system, ignition system, oil pump, water pump (new)
•NEW high performance B&M (BIGGEST one you can buy) oil cooler with braided steel lines
•Oil filter relocation kit for improved oil feed and easy oil changes (uses any brand oil filter fitting 95-01 Ford Mustang)
•Custom made turbo kit using a Garret Turbo (T4) good for up to 700 HP
•Twin intercooled using top of the line rear-mounted NEW PWC water-to-air intercooling system with braided flex-hose lines, and front mount air-to-air used Mitsubishi Lancer EVO II intercooler with performance cooling fan – tapped into washer fluid for constant fluid flow and excellent cooling used washer fluid (better than water)
•New Performance 3” aluminum radiator with new silicone hoses
•Custom fit turbo piping (lightweight aluminum) with 4-5 ply silicone couplings
•High strength metal bolt clamps for silicone hoses (hold high boost levels)
•2001 Corvette LS1 GM high flow throttle body
•2001 Corvette LS1 GM high flow mass airflow sensor
•Custom tuned ECU chip (preset for car boost setting between 5 and 15 psi) to run best with 91+ high octane fuel (Ran on 94 octane Sunoco gas 90% of the time)
•NEW custom built aluminum upper intake manifold for improved airflow with surrounding water jacket for improved air cooling (using fluid from intercooler)
•New 450cc Lucas Delphi performance fuel injectors (6) with new fuel filter, custom fuel pressure regulator and custom copper fuel lines
•New Custom built, high strength, heat treated steel exhaust manifold wrapped in high-heat tensor wrap for much improved cooling of engine bay temps
•HKS electronic boost controller EZ-EVC
•HKS SSQV blow off valve
•TIAL 38mm performance wastegate
•New Custom high flow 3” exhaust system with stock 96 Camaro muffler for quite ride and good flow
•New Custom “e-cutout” on exhaust 1 ft. after turbo outlet for catalytic/exhaust bypass for extremely enhanced performance (electronically switch controlled in dash)
•High flow K&N air filter, Mobil 1, 15w-50 synthetic performance oil used (Now uses Castrol GTX 20w-50)
•New Accel performance sparkplugs and 8mm Taylor wires (stock ignition coils)
•Approx. 7,000 KM since engine rebuild and 3000 KM on new Garrett Turbo (rebuild completed June 2005)

Transmission

•LOW KM 2001 GM 5 speed Getrag transmission for improved durability over any previous GM transmission, improved gear ratios for performance and gas mileage
•Custom made lightweight (12 lbs.) flywheel
•New Stage 4 Bully Performance high-horsepower clutch good for 650 HP
•Custom “Stage 5 capable” pressure plate by Bully Clutch
•Performance shifter cables, wrapped in high-heat tensor wrap to keep cool, custom designed and built shifter linkages to mate to 2001 transmission (new ones installed June 2006)
•Custom made performance short shifter for improved gear changes, short throws
•Approx. 60,000 km on transmission
*New shifter cables being installed July 2006!

Interior

•Original Pontiac Fiero GT cloth interior, good condition (except tear damage to driver seat, worn sunvisors, loose centre console but I have great condition used plastic centre console pieces included that are uncracked (common on Fieros!)
•New performance gauges including boost gauge, air/fuel ratio, pyrometer (EGT), oil pressure, water temperature and voltmeter
•1.5 din “GM fit” Pioneer AM/FM/CD stereo with remote and original Pontiac Fiero GT speakers
•New Autometer 2” shiftlight
•Original Pontiac Fiero GT 3-spoke steering wheel

Also included (not installed) with sale of car to winning bidder, you get:

-NEW Sparco “Race” high grip pedals
-NEW lower front fiberglass lip
-NEW frontside moulding piece (replace the slight cracked one)
-NEW fiberglass hood scoop
-NEW GT plexiglass quarter panel windows (replace the cracked one)
-NEW Fiero-fit black carpet
-NEW in box Autometer Oil, Volts, Water 2 & 5/8” gauges AND 5” 180 MPH speedometer AND 5” 10,000 rpm tachometer

-USED 4 speed Fiero "Isuzu" tranmission
-USED set of FOUR 15" Fiero Grey Mesh rims WITH almost NEW Mickey Thompson Street ET tires on two rims, and almost NEW Cooper Cobra tires on the other two rims *(optional)
*All of these parts alone add up to over $1200+

*All modifications and upgrades done by my personal friend GM mechanic TTK Performance, with tuning done by a 3.8L V6 specialist in Toronto. This car meets (passes) low emissions regulations and is certified 100% street legal.

*This car has approx. $23,000 CDN. invested (incl. all current extra parts not yet installed). It is easily daily driveable at 5-15 psi, as the motor sustains this safely & easily without issue (3800 V6's came forged from factory and supported up to 8psi in stock form). This is a high 11 second quarter-mile car, with an approximate top speed of 150 mph.

oh i also forgot to mention, since the car is 1987, it NO longer requires emissions anymore with the changes made to etest's in Ont.

(i just passed emissions this past April 2006)
